Frank Ocean Show in Dallas
sloppy last minute paint job, channeling orange. |
I prayed and I prayed and God answered me with some last minutes tickets
to Frank's show in Dallas. Saying it was amazing would be an
understatement. We had to push our way through crazy traffic, then we
had to push our way through the crazy line outside the building, then we had to wait for over an hour, but once Frank came out nothing else mattered. (no pun intended)
We found our selves in the middle of the crowd and to me that was the
perfect place, because we were at the center of all the emotion and the
inexplicable vibe that possessed the crowd. His presence, his voice, his
pain, his amazing performance made me fall more in love with him as if I
didn't adore him enough. I heard someone say that he <s>was<s> is magic and I
think that that is the best way to describe it, to describe him. Thanks Frank for an
inspiring, dare I say life changing, show!

Here's a video Kevin Hart posted of his surprise appereances during opening weekend. I really respect his love for his fans. If I wasn't already a huge fan of his I am defiantly one now. Reunited & It Feel So Good (well almost)
My tablet is almost in my hands, which means I'll have access to my netflix. We've been seperated for so long and soon we will reunite, let the celebration comense. (I'm glad it is arriving after I'll be done writing this 10 page paper, otherwise I'm sure I would have been consumed with it and not focused on my work. God always knows what he's doing.)

Swoon Worthy: Derrick Rose Covers GQ May 2012
It's another reason his one salvation is on a basketball court, where he can focus on winning and nothing else. ("He came packaged like that," his agent, BJ Armstrong, says. "That box was already packaged. That is who he is.") But even that's becoming a problem. Because the thing that Derrick Rose likes to do more than anything else in the world—winning basketball games—is making it more and more di∞cult to avoid the thing he dislikes more than anything in the world. "Don't get me wrong. I don't take anything for granted," he says. "But it seems like the better I play, the more attention I get. And I can't get away from it. You play great, you get attention. But I hate attention. It is weird. I'm in a bind. The more you win, the more they come."

Wow, this story is amazing!!!
Newborn baby found alive in morgue 12 hours after being declared dead
Newborn baby found alive in morgue 12 hours after being declared dead
A newborn in Argentina was found very much alive in a morgue by her mother 12 hours after hospital staff had declared the baby dead.
The mother, Analia Bouguet, tells TeleNoticias TV that the hospital still has issued her only a death certificate for the infant rather than a birth certificate. Bouguet said she is planning to pursue a medical malpractice suit.
The Daily Mail reports that the baby was Bouguet's fifth and was born prematurely.
Two hours after being issue a death certificate, Bouguet and her husband visited the morgue because they wanted to see their child one more time.
"The baby was there and they put the little casket on a stretcher. We looked for a bar to pry it open," the baby's father, Fabian Veron, said in a press conference. "My wife looked and uncovered it slowly. She saw the little hand and then uncovered the face. That's when it let the first little cry out."
"That night, we went to the morgue. We wanted to take a photo of our daughter," Bouguet told Argentina's Clarin newspaper. "But when a worker opened the drawer, we heard a cry and she was alive."
The newborn has been named Luz Milagros, or "Miracle Light." She is still listed as being in critical condition but is said to be improving. The deputy provincial health minister announced that five medical professionals involved in the case have been suspended, pending further investigation.
"At the moment we have no explanation," hospital director Jose Luis Meirino told the paper. "The baby was attended to by obstetricians, gynecologists and a neonatologist. They all reached the same conclusion, that this girl was stillborn."

Easter
Easter weekend was more than amazing. Friday we attended a barbecue that full of laughter and good times. On Sunday I went with my friend to this cool little get together/dinner. People from all over the world was there and I got to try a lot of food from various sides of the earth. Later we also went to the backyard to make ice cream on old wooden ice cream maker, when I say that it made my day to do that.... you guys have no idea. It took back to my childhood. Anyway after dinner we went to church and I got to see a lot of my friends get baptized it was a powerful night. All in all, even though I didn't get to be with family, it was one of the greatest days ever. Glory Be!

Today
Today after class I went to the park with one of my friends. It was beautiful out and I had a good time just being out and enjoying the weather. I'm glad that I'm here and not at home in Dallas, I would have been so scared with all the tornadoes that touched down last night. Thank God that all my family is safe a sound. I had a great time but then I had to come home and get myself ready to say goodbye to on of my favorite show...
In my mind my adolescence ended with the final scene of tonight's finale. I started watching this show when it premiered in 2003, I was 13 and in the 8th grade. Now I am 22 and am about to graduate college in a little over a month or so. This show has been a part of my life for a long time and I have invested in every character and in every storyline. The show has taught me valuable lessons and has helped me get through some very hard times in my life. Mere words can not express all that this show means to me. It has shaped me and in many ways and shown me that I am perfect just the way that I am and that my existence matters. More importantly it has shown me that love exists and that I deserve to be loved. I could go on for days and days but again, no words could sum up the impact this show has had on me. It was hard to see it go but in a sense it was necessary. The finale was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything greater. You can tell that the cast and crew really considered the fans in filming the last episode and that it why OTH has always delivered and that is why it will always have a piece of my heart. So thanks to the cast and crew of OTH I am forever grateful to all of you.
Always & Forever xoxoxox!
