Life: SGA Debates & Obama Rally

A while back we had to decide rather to go to the Obama rally at Clark or the Spelman SGA debates, we decided to go to both. Honestly I only went to the rally to see my girl Janelle Monae, who I still have yet to get a picture with. I've seen her twice and have no proof of it, I still in my emotions about it. She dipped so fast but Dyson and Pulliam stayed for a while and took pictures with the crowd. Overall it was a great experience. The SGA debates was the usual coonery that it always is. As the year comes to a close every event I go to with my friends is bittersweet. I'm really gonn miss the good ol' AUC.

Really, Where Does The Time Go?

Last week we had to take Senior pictures, I still can't believe that I'm about to be a College graduate.

All in all we waited for about three & half hours can you tell how tired I looked? My friend kept trying take pictures & what not but I wasn't having any of that I was tired and ret to go. I can't believe we're taking senior pics it feels like we were just in freshman orientation, how the time flies.

Grind Time



I have a love/hate relationship w/ airports

Welp Christmas break is over. Tommorrow begins the first full week of classes but I still smell like a vacation lol. I need to get into grind mode, I'm sure it will kick in when the asignments and readings start rolling in. Once I get my schedule all hooked up hopefully I will be taking tap, photography, and a poetry workshop. Definitely exploring my artistic side this semester, so stay tuned for all magnifcant pieces and photos I'm sure I'll be reluctant to share on here. I will share I always do, no matter how reluctant I am. You guys won't judge me or my work right? Hahaha.

Anyways I'm just greatful to back for my last semester, I've been through alot and I've seen a lot of my friends leave school for different reasons. Through it all God has kept me and come May, 20th 2012 I will be a graduate of the illustrious Spelman College. Tell me God aint good. Can I get a an amen, and amen again. Glorrryy!!!

Hallelujah

I'm finally done! My 20 page thesis proposal is complete and today God blessed me tremendously with a 0 balance on my account. Praise Him! Now all I've to do is turn this paper in in the morning pack and go home. I can enjoy the holiday without worrying about paying tuition, God is too good yall. Glory to his name. Seven semesters down and one more to go. Graduation here I come!

This verse pretty much sums up how I fill right now. Thank you God for your faithfulness.

Growth

My Life Right Now

•  My hair is growing so much :)
• I wish I had a better camera to take pics with, my other one broke. :(
• I just tried OPI nail polish for the first time,yea I know,(you can kinda see it in the first pic) and I'm in love with it. It's lasted for so long. I see now why people love it so much.
• The semester is over which means I'm one step closer to graduating. :)
• Real life is quickly approaching though, and I'm having mixed feelings about it.
• I should be finishing my thesis proposal but instead I think I'll start season 5 of The Wire.
• I'm currently listening to Camp on Spotify and falling more in love with Donald Glover.
• I can't wait to go home to Dallas this weekend :)
• Hopefully I'll have a job when I get there. (Please Jesus!)
