Put Your Twos In The Air

Today on the 15th anniversary of his death, The Atlanta University Center held a block party to celebrate the opening of a Tupac exhibit at the Robert W. Woodruff Library. There was spoken word and performance by former students of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts. It broke my heart when one of the kids broke down in the middle of his performance. It is inspirational to see how one mans life can have such a profound effect on people of all generations. His sister, Sekyiwa Kai Shakur, spoke on her brothers legacy and his heart for the people. She expressed her gratitude, through tears of joy, for the exhibit and the way that the AUC has honored her brothers life. It was a great event and I'm glad to be apart of an community that celebrates the life and influence of one of my personal heroes.

RIP Tupac, your legacy forever lives on in all of us.
